FROM OUR LAND
TO YOUR TABLE
The Casa Sesta Farm is also a producer of white wine, Rosso Chianti D.O.C.G. and extra virgin olive oil.
During your stay you can enjoy our products and participate with us in the most important moments of the agricultural activity: from the pruning of the olive trees in March, to the harvest of the fruit in the summer, to the harvest and the production of wine in September October and to the browsing and pressing of olives for extra virgin olive oil production.
The farm produces and bottles directly the wines that recall the Tuscan tradition, such as the Chianti docg, but also wines that wink at the novelty.
Recently, non-autochthonous grapes such as Pinot Noir and Goldtraminer have been planted, but Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes are still grown. Red wines aged in French oak barrels are produced, as well as fragrant sweet wines aged in American acacia barriques.
In the terraced olive grove at an altitude of 500 meters you can find Leccini, Frantoiani and Moraioli that produce healthy olives that are harvested strictly by hand.
